PRICING

Prices, VAT & Import Charges

All prices on RUBN.COM include Value Added Tax (VAT), excluding delivery charges.

VAT

• European Union (EU) customers:

  • EU-based business entities with a registered VAT number will not be charged VAT, in accordance with reverse charge regulations.

    • Customers without a valid VAT number will be charged VAT according to applicable EU rules.

     

• Swedish customers: Prices include Swedish VAT.

• Customers outside the European Union: No VAT will be charged.
  
  

Customs & Import Fees

Customs duties, import VAT, and handling fees are not included in our prices and are determined by your local customs authorities.

Import fees may apply when shipping to countries outside the EU customs territory, including but not limited to:

• EEA countries outside the EU (e.g. Norway, Iceland)

• EU territories outside the EU customs union (e.g. Faroe Islands, certain island territories)

• Non-EU European countries (e.g. UK, Switzerland, Ukraine, Albania, Kosovo)

Any applicable customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are payable upon delivery.

DELIVERY TERMS

Shipping

We ship worldwide from our factory in Southern Sweden. 

• Continental Europe: Free standard shipping on orders above €500.*
  For orders below 500€, a 35€ shipping fee applies (excl. VAT). 

• Outside Continental Europe: Shipping costs depend on the recipient's location.
  A quote will be provided within 2-3 business days upon request, during checkout, valid for 14 days from receipt. 

 

*Excludes orders over 15 pieces and oversized shipments (e.g. three Lord Ballroom chandeliers).

Delivery Time

• Continental Europe: 3-6 business days for in-stock items.

• Rest of the world: Delivery times vary based on recipient's location and shipping method.
  Should an item be temporarily out of stock, we will notify you with the estimated delivery time. 

RETURN / REFUND POLICY

RETURNS (B2C)

Private individuals possess a statutory right to cancel their purchase within 14 calendar days of delivery, provided without necessity for justification.

To utilize this right, RUBN AB must be informed via email at [insert email address] within the initial 14-day window.

Following this notification, a subsequent 14 calendar days are granted to complete the physical return of the items.

We strongly advise utilizing the original packaging to facilitate secure transit; however, its absence does not preclude your legal right to withdraw.

Items must be returned in a state that permits verification of their quality and function. RUBN AB reserves the right to apply a value deduction if handling exceeds what is required to establish the nature of the goods.

The customer bears the direct costs associated with returning goods, unless mandated otherwise by law. We recommend trackable shipping methods.

For shipments exceeding 30 kg, RUBN AB shall organize the collection at no additional cost to the buyer.

REFUNDS

Processing occurs within 14 calendar days upon receipt of the items or verified proof of return, whichever is earlier.

Reimbursements are issued through the original payment channel unless an alternative is mutually established.

Under statutory withdrawal, RUBN AB refunds the primary delivery fee based on our standard, least expensive shipping tier. Premium delivery costs remain non-reimbursable.

EXCEPTIONS TO WITHDRAWAL

Withdrawal rights are excluded for:

• Products manufactured to specific customer requirements.

• Highly personalized or bespoke items.

• Any goods exempted by prevailing consumer legislation.

WITHDRAWAL FORM

To enact your withdrawal, a clear declaration of your intent to void the contract may be provided.

Claims

Kindly observe that claims are processed exclusively for items acquired directly from RUBN AB. Should a purchase be made via a third-party reseller, initial contact must be directed to said vendor.

Upon receipt, buyers are expected to examine their shipment and notify us of any apparent transit-related damage within a reasonable timeframe.

Delays in reporting transportation damage shall not prejudice your legal protections regarding faulty or non-compliant merchandise.

To initiate a claim for delivery damage or manufacturing flaws, please submit our claim form along with a thorough account and accompanying photography.

Shipping Claims
Issues arising from transit are generally evaluated within a 4-business-day window.

Warranty Claims
Submissions regarding production defects are typically assessed within 10 business days, though further details may be requested.

COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

RUBN AB extends a 2-year warranty for production faults not resulting from standard wear, incorrect handling, faulty setup, alterations, accidents, or neglect.

This voluntary warranty serves as a supplement to, and does not override, any legal rights granted by consumer legislation.

Upon validation of a claim, RUBN AB shall, at its discretion and per legal requirements:

• Rectify the product damage;

• Provide a replacement unit;

• Offer a suitable price adjustment; or

• Process a full reimbursement.

We will facilitate or cover the costs for return transit when mandated by law or for approved warranty resolutions.

B2B TERMS & CONDITIONS

Contract Basis

These terms apply to all orders with RUBN AB, including purchases made via email or our web ship. The buyer’s terms apply only if expressly accepted by RUBN AB in writing. 

Order Confirmation

Our offer is valid for 30 days. Orders are only binding once you’ve received written or electronic confirmation. If the confirmation deviates from your terms, you have 24 hours to cancel or amend the order.

Delivery Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deliveries are made in accordance with Incoterms® 2020 DAP (Delivered At Place).

Risk transfers to the buyer when the goods are placed at the buyer's disposal at the agreed destination, ready for unloading.

The buyer shall inspect the goods promptly upon receipt and notify RUBN AB of any transport damage or shortages without undue delay.

Claims

Please note that we only accept claims when goods were bought directly from RUBN AB and not a third party reseller. 

For B2B transactions, claims related to shipping damage or product faults must be submitted by filling out our claim form within 3 business days of receiving your order. 

• Shipping Claims: If damage occurred during transport. Claim is usually reviewed within 4 business days.

• Warranty Claims: If the product has a manufacturing fault. Claim is usually reviewed within 10 business days. Additional information may be required.

We offer a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects not due to normal wear and tear.

Claims are always carefully considered before a resolution is reached. Should the claim be accepted, we will help you arrange the return shipment of the goods. RUBN AB will then offer to fix the damaged goods or substitute them so that they meet our highest quality criteria. Should these options not be of interest, we will accept a return for a full refund.

Returns

Returns are accepted only with prior written approval from RUBN AB.

Return credit may be granted as follows:

• Original condition: 85% credit (excl. freight costs)

• Damaged packaging: 75% credit (excl. freight costs)

• Damaged fixture (not returned through “Claims” process): Case-by-case basis

Governing Law 

These terms and all agreements between RUBN AB and business customers shall be governed by Swedish law.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) shall not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

Warranty

RUBN AB provides a 2-year commercial warranty covering manufacturing defects that are not caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, improper installation, modification, accident or inadequate maintenance.

This commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, any statutory rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.

Intellectual Property

The exclusive ownership of all intellectual property, encompassing RUBN AB's product designs, trademarks, imagery, technical specifications, and promotional resources, is retained solely by RUBN AB.

Any prohibited copying, dissemination, or alteration of these assets is strictly forbidden and may lead to the cessation of commercial partnerships and the initiation of legal proceedings.

GENERAL TERMS B2C

Legal Capacity

By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law.

If you are a consumer residing outside Sweden, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence. Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Product Compliance

Products supplied by RUBN AB comply with applicable product safety legislation and, where required, bear the relevant CE marking and conformity documentation.

Force Majeure

RUBN AB shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to labour disputes, natural disasters, fire, accident, war, governmental action, transportation disruption, supply chain interruption, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such events shall suspend RUBN AB's obligations for the duration of the event and for a reasonable period thereafter.

RUBN AB reserves the right to correct obvious typographical, clerical, technical or pricing errors and shall not be liable for losses arising solely from such errors where correction is permitted by applicable law.
