During registration, you will need to provide a username and contact information, including your name, email address, and a password.
If you are signing up as a business entity, please also provide your company name and address, along with your EU VAT or GB EORI number, if available.

Simply browse our collection, select the product(s) you’re interested in, and add them to your cart. Follow the checkout process to confirm your order.
Should you wish to place your order manually or would like to place a bespoke order, kindly reach out to us via contact@rubn.com, specifying your desired model, connection type (if applicable), finish and size, as well as other details that may be relevant like your delivery address and contact phone number.
We usually process manual orders within 24 hours (excluding weekends).

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption and secure payment gateways like Klarna and Stripe to process all transactions. For your security and in compliance with EU regulations, we never store your credit card details or accept payment information over the phone.

If an item is out of stock, we will inform you as soon as an order is placed. We aim to send out of stock, standard, lamps within 1-2 weeks of received order.

Shipping methods and costs depend on your location and the size of your order. Available options are calculated and shown at checkout.
- Standard shipping within Continental EUROPE is free of charge for orders over 500 EUR.
- For orders outside of Continental EUROPE (e.g., export orders to the US or Taiwan), the shipping cost is quoted to the customer either when ordering online or if they reach out to us by email.

Yes. Due to the high value of our lamps, a signature is required for all deliveries. We strongly recommend inspecting the box for any signs of damage before signing.
If you notice any damage to the packaging, please ensure it is noted by the delivery driver at the time of receipt. You can refuse the delivery if the package is clearly damaged.

We’re sorry to hear that! Please fill out the claim form, within 5 days of receiving the product, which can be found here, with your order number, photos of the damage, and packaging. We’ll take care of the rest.

- Warranty: We offer a two-year warranty covering defects in manufacturing. This excludes damage from incorrect handling or maintenance.
- Shipping Damage Claims: To report shipping damage, submit a report with photos of the item and its packaging to contact@rubn.com within 5 days of delivery.
Photos should include a full image and 2-3 detail images of, both, the shipping box and the damaged fixture.

If you purchased your RUBN lamp through one of our authorized retail partners, we kindly ask that you contact them directly for any warranty or service requests.
They will have your original purchase records on hand and will coordinate with us as needed to ensure your inquiry is resolved as quickly as possible.

All of our lighting fixtures are exclusively handcrafted and manufactured in our dedicated factory located in Vittsjö, Sweden. This facility has a long-standing heritage, producing lamps with an unwavering commitment to Swedish craftsmanship and the same high standards of quality for over 50 years. This local production ensures we maintain full control over the quality and detail of every piece.

Our focus on Swedish craftsmanship, which we maintain at our factory in Vittsjö, guides our material choices and sustainability. What is the Color Temperature/Kelvin, and what color are your LED light sources?
What is the Color Temperature/Kelvin, and what color are your LED light sources?
Color Temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) and indicates a light source's warmth, where a lower Kelvin number provides a warmer light. We include a light source between 2700–3000K with all our lamps, which provides a warm white light.
Are RUBN fixtures dimmable?
Are RUBN fixtures dimmable?
All RUBN fixtures are sent with the recommended dimmable LED light source, and can be dimmed with a LED-compatible dimmer, preferably phase-cut / trailing-edge dimmers.
Always consult a certified electrician before installation.
Not all fixtures have an integrated dimmer, but most of our Floor & Table Lamps do. If a lamp includes an integrated dimmer, this is stated under “Product Specifications.”
Important Note: Fixtures with an integrated dimmer cannot be connected to an external dimming system, as the two dimmers will conflict, and the lamp will not work.
Do RUBN fixtures work with the DALI dimming system?

- What is DALI? A DALI driver is a smart LED power supply that listens to digital commands. It powers the LED and lets a lighting control system tell the light what to do.
Many of our fixtures can be adapted for DALI control. Please contact us via contact@rubn.com or by calling +46 (0) 10 207 12 12 to confirm compatibility before ordering.

The difference is due to the time spent on metal finishing:
- Clear-lacquer: Requires more time spent on brushing the metal to look perfect, resulting in a higher price.
- Powder Coating: We still aim to make the metal smooth, but since it will be covered by the coating, less time is spent, resulting in a lower price.

The specification depends on the size and importance of the brass components. A "Black/Brass" finish indicates that major elements, such as the rod or ceiling cup, are made of brass. In contrast, "Black/Brass details" means only smaller components, like swivels or screws, feature the brass finish.

- High-Gloss Finish: Provides a high-sheen, reflective surface that is visually striking and easy to clean, though it may show fingerprints.

- Matte Finish: Features a low-sheen, non-reflective surface that provides a contemporary look and effectively hides smudges and dust.

The care required for your RUBN lamp depends on the specific materials used. Follow these guidelines to maintain your lamp’s finish:
- Clear-lacquered Brass & Steel: Wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid cleaning sprays or detergents, as these can damage the protective lacquer.
- Powder-coated Steel: Wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid cleaning sprays or detergents, as these can damage the protective lacquer.
- Unlacquered Brass & Copper: Wipe with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. To remove oxidation or problem spots, use a specialized metal polishing agent.
- Gunmetal: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth for regular cleaning. For deeper cleaning, use a water-displacing spray, ensuring no residue or water is left on the surface.
- Glass Globes: Carefully remove the glass and wash with mild dish soap. Dry completely before polishing with a microfiber cloth for a streak-free shine.
- Leather: Use a leather conditioner to clean and treat the material, maintaining its color and preventing it from drying out.
- Light Bulbs: Consult the product page for specific bulb requirements. If your fixture uses multiple bulbs, replace them simultaneously to ensure consistent light quality.

Voltage & Compability
Which Lamps are Suitable for the US (110–120V) Electrical Grid?
Which Lamps are Suitable for the US (110–120V) Electrical Grid?
Our fixtures are designed for the European electrical system (230V, 50 Hz). Compatibility with the US system (110–120V, 60 Hz) depends on the fixture's light source type.
- 1. Plug-and-Play (Requires customer-supplied parts): Fixtures that use GU10 or GX53 bulbs (e.g., Long John, Miller, Lektor) can be used in the US, provided the customer supplies a 110V LED bulb and US-style plugs if needed.
- 2. Requires a Voltage Converter (Built-in LED sources): Fixtures with built-in LED light sources (e.g., Bloomsbury fixtures, James fixtures, Long John with Uplight) require a voltage converter to work in the US.
Note for Uplight Versions: The Long John with Uplight specifically requires a separate LED driver running on 24V DC constant voltage. The customer must source a compatible 110V LED driver locally, as we do not supply this part for the US grid.

All lamps come with a standard EU 2-pin plug as standard. For orders to the UK and Ireland, we attach a 3-pin plug before shipping.
We do not offer other international plug types. For safety, we recommend consulting a certified electrician before using any third-party adapters.
